ABOUT THE COMPANY

Tormed Pharmacy Compounding Center is located conveniently on the Torrance Memorial Campus. We are a full-service, compounding pharmacy in Torrance, California providing both conventional and alternative medicines, and we are licensed by the California Board of Pharmacy for sterile compounding. At our pharmacy, we pride ourselves on our experience and expertise with great service.

Our pharmacy was established in 1997, and we have been serving Southbay for over 25 years. We are a family run business that prides itself on patient care, customer service, and convenience. We are always here to help you when you need us.

The Tormed Pharmacy Compounding Center team understands that every patient has different needs when it comes to medication. Conventional, off-the-shelf prescription medications do not always meet the special needs of patients. As a professional compounding pharmacy, we can work with your doctor to tailor medicines specifically formulated for the treatment of your condition. Some of our specific applications are bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, pain management, pediatric compounding, veterinary compounding, hospice compounding, and men's health.

Marjan received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California (USC), Rho Chi Honors Society, in 1994. Prior to founding Tormed Pharmacy Compounding Center in 1997, she worked as a home health pharmacist and was a manager at major retail pharmacies. Over the past 25 years, Marjan has grown the practice from a small independent pharmacy to a business that now focuses on sterile and non-sterile compounding, home health, and hospice care in a retail setting. She has earned many certificates in Bio-identical hormone therapy, compounding technique, and hospice management.

Melika earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from the University of California, Irvine. She then received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific. Melika started her career at Tormed Pharmacy Compounding Center and has been influential in the growth of the sterile and non-sterile compounding labs. She has received numerous certificates in both sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques, bio-identical hormone therapy, USP 795, 797, and 800, and low-dose naltrexone therapy.
